  Dear Yuichi:
Time is speeding by so fast that it seems to be getting harder and harder to get all the things done on schedule. I keep getting further behind in my work and other activities. Usually by now,I would have made one or two trips to California, but this year I have not had time to go out there. I mentioned in an earlier letter that I wanted to be in England by the 24th of May in order to see the gathering of tall sailing ships at Bristol,England. I have just found out that the Air Force has only one flight scheduled from San Antonio to Germany in May and that is on the 24th. Therefore,I will not be going to Europe at this time. I expect I will be going to New Mexico for a meeting in May and then on to San Francisco. I need to get away for a while. In your letter of April 16th, you requested that I ask Brice Martin about going back to Japan after the war and assisting in the release of Lt.Mizukoshi. I called Brice and asked him about the episode. He could not remember the names, but he does recall recommending the release of one person. He did not know if it resulted in the person's release. I was sorry to hear about the differences you are having with Prof.Chaen. It may take me several days to check to check on the ABI as I will need to contact the Better Business Bureau in North Carolina and also with our city library. I will let you know as soon as I can find out anything about it. Sincerely, Rob
