  Dear Yuichi:

I am glad you finally received my letter of July 1. Your letter of July 8 caused me to be worried that my letter had been lost in the mail.

Your concern about the proper spelling of names and places is appreciated because I want to be as accurate as possible. As I mentioned in an earlier letter, all corrections you have noted have been made in the copy given to the publisher. You must remember that I have to use the spelling given in a document. I cannot make changes to someone's document. I can only put the correct spelling or name in parenthesis in order to indicate an error. This has been done.

I still have not heard of any requests for the arrest of W.

I do not know the name of Peter Pagnamenta ( sp ). A girl in the London office called me to ask if I could be interviewed on August 18th. I said -"Yes". Domenic Azane ( sp ) is going to call me next week to confirm the date. They are also going to interview a man the Dallas area who was connected with the war crimes trials. I may have to go to there for the interview. I do not know any information about this company.

I will be glad to send Bob Kelly a copy of the Zamperini tape when he writes me. I am going to have several more copies made for other people.

The book is being edited now and the first galley should be ready for my review in about ten days. They are now working on a proposed ( preliminary ) cover.

Tomorrow ( Saturday ) I will fly to California to visit with my 93 year old uncle. I will spend several days in San Francisco before coming home on Thursday ( 23rd.). Hopefully, it will be cool there. I like it when the temperature is in the 60's: but yesterday the temperature there was 84. It has been very hot here this summer. We have had 15 days of 100 or more. Normally, we have only a few days that hot.

No other news at this time.

Sincerely
Bob
