Tom Wade was a Lt. in the Loyal Regiment captured in Singapore and later taken to Omori POW Camp where he was a barracks commander before being transferred to a camp at Naoetsu. He pursued a career as a journalist after the war. His experiences are recorded in his book antitled - Prisoner of the Japanese; From Changi to Tokyo.
