Dear Yuuichi: This has been a very busy time for me.My youngest daughter and her family came here for the Easter holidyas and my son came to see her.Then I had to do some last minute work on my manuscript,editing the copy which came off of the computer.Now I am trying to get some things done before I leave for Europe. An Air Force plane is scheduled to leave Kelly AF Base(San Antonio) this Friday (22)for Frankfurt, Germany.I hope to be able to get on it. My goal is to get to Spain, but I will not know for sure where I will be going in Europe until I get to Germany. I do have a Eurorail Pass which gives me some flexibility in my choices. I am sorry you will not be in England at that time. Hopefully,we can meet there next year. Your information about Dr.Fuji and Bush was interesting. I would have liked to see Bush as I was in England in 1987 and 1988. Thank you for correcting Kuriyama's first name(ミチオ).I had found it in a military interrogation report.Also,thank you for the newspaper article(1/20 朝日新聞マリオン‘戦後48年’、ＳＰＡ).I have made copies of it and sent them to my Japanese aunt in California and to Stanley Manirre.
